Grandparents, Elders, Money & Abundance

Grandparents, Great-grandparents and elders are a central part of many Diaspora families and communities. They support, give advice and often send messages down the transgenerational line when they are no longer present in the current family system .

During this workshop we will explore the role of grandparents and elders in creating and stopped the flow of money and abundance in the transgenerational line.

Join us for a transformative event focused on unlocking obstacles to money growth and attracting more abundance into Diaspora Transgenerational Life.

Money is a big family issue, although we don’t often see it that way. Often our relationship with abundance is defined by the values that our parents, elders and grandparents put on money in the family system.

My father was a very generous man to his wife. Every birthday, mothers day, valentines day and Easter my mother would receive beautiful gifts. At Christmas, my fathers favourite time of the year ,he would go to extraordinary lengths to make sure that my mother sister and I could want for nothing.

His relationship with Christmas, came about through his grandmothers hoarding of money. In 1940's Guyana she had enough money to send him to grammar school and it would have changed his life, but she didn’t. When she died, the family found a big box of gold bangles, earrings, gold coins and other jewellery under her bed. My father resented her for the rest of his life!

I tell you this family story because on this day when we look at Money and Abundance in the Diaspora Family, you will see similar ancestral legacies. Sometimes they act as blocks to success. In constellation workshops we all work together on money issues, our own and others and you will see similar patterns occurring across communities and cultures.

During this workshop we will explore money in family relationships using a range of constellations methods. We will ‘map-out’ constellations that explore where there may be suppressed or taboo conversations around money in your family system.

We will look at the energetic dynamics that influence our relationship with family money, inheritance and ancestral legacies. And through the constellations lens you will gain insights and clarity on the relationship entanglements with money in your family system that may be keeping you blocked.

Come ready to explore not just money, but abundance. Where is it is in your family line? Where does it ebb and flow down the generations? And what relationships are impacted by beliefs and values around money and success?

The fourth in a series of Ancestral Constellations workshops focused on Diaspora Transgenerational Life.

This day is open to anyone who would benefit from learning more about the systemic constellations method and is interested in the Ancestral Constellations approach. 3-4 constellations will be chosen on the day from group members.
