Celebrate the launch of Scribbled: The First Year, a vibrant, community-led anthology of poems, short stories, and creative writing by emerging voices from around the world.

Join us for a relaxed, welcoming day of writing workshops, creative activities, games, and connection - an open, drop-in programme running from 12pm and leading into the official book launch at 7pm. It’s a wonderful opportunity to meet fellow writers, spend time with the Scribbled community, and celebrate creativity together.

Whether you come to write, listen, meet others, or simply enjoy the atmosphere, you will find a warm and inclusive space celebrating the community behind the pages.

Curated from over 1,000 open submissions across more than 100 countries, Scribbled: The First Year is a carefully chosen selection of prose, poetry and essays. No fees, no gatekeeping, just pure human imagination.

Published by Scribbled, the book marks a year of building a human-first, accessible platform for new writers and the wonderful community it has created. More than a collection, it is a celebration of creativity as a vital, deeply human practice that should belong to everyone
