One of the contributors to the single is legendary record producer CLIVE LANGER who may be persuaded to perform a few songs from THE REV's forthcoming album (2026) or from his latest CLANG Er album. Clive will be accompanied by the powerful and mesmeric ADAYE OMATAYO, critically renowned singer with bands including Gorilla and the late Amy Winehouse.

The Fritzel Choir

The evening's entertainments will include a rare outing by the ladies of THE FRITZEL CHOIR who brought a touch of class to the Rev's single. Please note that they are more used to performing at underground venues and unaccustomed to the limelight. However, once warmed up you will be thrilled to hear THE REV MAX's manly singing harmonies weaving in and out of their lady parts.

The Whistling Chicks

The evening may later degenerate into unladylike behaviour, egged on by the fabulous WHISTLING CHICKS. You will scarcely believe that these girls have not been trained to perform in public. Unfortunately, one of our key soloists damaged her whistle when she tried to open a tinny of cider with her teeth. MESSY. (NOTE: Ring pulls can be life changing). But we don't care! We're CRAZY!

Karaoke

Agnes, the Rev's housekeeper usually makes sure he is in bed by 8.30pm. However, she has intrigued him with evocative descriptions of something called KARAOKE. As a result he hopes to stay up, eagerly watching young people getting mean and competitive (i.e. performing excruciatingly bad renditions of popular songs by so-called 'CELEBS'). Hey, whatever floats your duck!

Cocktails

Locals know that Jeremy's delicious cocktails at the Brookmill are to die for (he is a fully qualified microbiologist and used to work in a laboratory). But please don't overdo it! Things could get a bit out of hand on a Monday evening in December. Indeed, the BROOKMILL PUB sometimes stays open as late as 10.20pm at night!!!
