Lombard Cemetery Picnic

Did you know picnicking in cemeteries was once a popular Victorian pastime?
Join the Lombard Historical Society on August 30 from Noon to 2 PM as we bring this unique tradition back to life.

Bring your own picnic lunch and blanket, and we’ll provide lemonade and cookies. While you enjoy a relaxing afternoon, you’ll also learn about the history of cemetery picnics, discover who is buried at the site, and explore the beautiful and historic headstones.

This event is free for LHS members and $3 for non-members.
Registration is required, and space is limited.

Come enjoy an afternoon where history meets hospitality.
