Krampusnacht

Krampusnacht, or Krampus Night, comes from old Alpine folklore. It’s said that on the evening of December 5th, Krampus—a wild winter spirit—wanders through villages reminding folks to stay kind and humble in preparation for St. Nicholas.

These days, it’s less about fright and more about celebrating the wilder side of the season — gathering with friends, sharing good food and drinks, and leaning into a little playful mischief. It’s a cozy, spirited night to toast old traditions and welcome winter with laughter and warmth.
