Join us for a Standard Mental Health First Aid Course at MYnd and Me! Learn how to provide initial support to someone experiencing a mental health crisis. This in-person event will cover a range of mental health conditions and crises, equipping you with the skills to offer help until professional support is available. - What You Will Learn -

Gain the confidence and skills to:

Recognise early signs and symptoms of common mental health conditions

Offer support using the proven MHFA Action Plan (ALGEE)

Respond to mental health crises such as:

Depression

Anxiety

Psychosis

Substance use issues

Suicidal thoughts and behaviours

Panic attacks

Non-suicidal self-injury

Traumatic events

Reduce stigma and encourage help-seeking

Become a Mental Health First Aider (with optional accreditation valid for 3 years)

Duration: 2 days

Saturday 29th of November 8:30am - 4:30pm

Sunday 30th of November 8:30am - 4:30pm

Cost: $380 per person

Includes: Course manual, MHFA action card, light refreshments

Payment due: 7 days before the course begins
