About the event

Pottery workshop: make a ceramic sgraffito bird -beginner friendly
In this beginner-friendly & relaxed workshop, you will make a bird sculpture following my step by step guidance. You will then decorate your bird using coloured underglaze and use the sgraffito technique to add decoration. Sgraffito involves scratching and carving off the underglaze to reveal the white clay underneath. Your bird can be designed to sit in different positions or you can make it into a hanging decoration.
All the equipment and materials you will need are supplied and you will be able to make and take home unique beautiful ceramic pieces that you have made yourself. I am a qualified teacher and the class takes place at my studio at Earsham Hall near Bungay and not too far from Norwich.
This workshop is £36 per person– limited places available.
Book via my website walrusceramics.co.uk or click the tickets link 😊
