Steel Rain MC Oakboro will be riding out in support of Blue Collar Cycles - Hickory’s 9/11 Memorial Ride, honoring the fallen heroes of September 11, 2001 and this year, remembering a local brother in service, Jake Bridges, a Firefighter and EMT who gave so much in his short 20 years.
This ride is 110 miles in honor of the 110 flights of stairs climbed by first responders at the Twin Towers. It’s open to motorcycles, cars, and trucks, a full show of Unity, Patriotism, and Remembrance.

🕕 Meetup: 6:15 AM
🛑 Tanks topped off
✊ Kickstands up: 6:30 AM sharp
We’ll head to the QT at 8820 Christenbury Parkway in Concord to meet up with our Brothers from SRMC Concord and additional riders. After a quick link-up, we roll out at 7:30 AM to arrive at Blue Collar Cycles in Hickory by 8:30 AM for registration.
Kickstands up in Hickory: 9:00 AM
Lunch served at noon
We’ll wrap up by about 1:00 PM and make our way back.
💵 Donations will be accepted for the Jake Bridges Scholarship Fund through Catawba Valley Community College.
