An Introduction to Fruit Tree & Soft Fruit Pruning

Join us for an inspiring morning in the Walled Garden as our Head Gardener talks you through the principles and techniques of pruning and training fruit followed by a hands-on session in our garden to show you how we keep our 600 fruit trees and bushes beautiful and productive. This workshop covers pruning tips and techniques for a variety of fruit trees, including apples and pears. It also covers soft fruits such as raspberries, black currants, and blackberries, along with shapes and forms of trained fruit trees and restorative pruning.

Includes refreshments on the day. (Note: Please dress warmly and for wet weather. Please, also bring your own secateurs).
