Le 80. Settimane Musicali di Ascona accolgono per la prima volta uno degli ensemble barocchi più acclamati a livello internazionale: Il Pomo d’Oro, diretto da Maxim Emelyanychev, artista tra i più versatili e carismatici della nuova generazione, che sarà protagonista anche al fortepiano nel celebre Concerto K.466.
Il programma, eseguito su strumenti d’epoca, propone tre volti di Mozart:
✨ la giovanile e luminosa Sinfonia n.11 K.84, composta in Italia a soli 14 anni
✨ l’intenso Concerto per pianoforte K.466, pagina amatissima da Beethoven
✨ la monumentale Sinfonia “Praga” K.504, ricca di echi operistici e straordinaria vitalità
Tre capolavori che ci restituiscono Mozart come genio inesauribile, capace di emozionare in ogni età della vita.
Fondata nel 2012, l’orchestra Il Pomo d’Oro si è affermata in pochi anni come riferimento assoluto per la musica antica, con collaborazioni prestigiose (Joyce DiDonato, Jakub Orliński) e numerosi premi. Il suo direttore principale Maxim Emelyanychev è considerato uno dei talenti più sorprendenti della scena musicale internazionale.

The 80th Settimane Musicali di Ascona welcome, for the very first time, one of today’s most celebrated Baroque ensembles: Il Pomo d’Oro, under the direction of Maxim Emelyanychev – one of the most versatile and charismatic artists of his generation – who will also perform at the fortepiano in the iconic Concerto K.466.
The evening offers a fascinating Mozart journey on period instruments:
