About the Event

Join outdoor & wild swim specialist Angela Jones & her water safety team on the Monmouthshire & Brecon Canal to kayak under the stars. Enjoy the safety of the calm canal waters and paddle this beautiful waterway under the stars on a crisp autumn night.

Park at meeting place alongside canal

Arrive in warm, casual training clothes - trousers and a long sleeve top & jumper / fleece

Waterproof jacket (essential)

Bobblehat (essential)

Head torch (essential)

Gloves (advised)

Suitable sensible footwear with a good grip (essential)

Swim Wild Wye are working within the latest government guidelines to keep everyone safe. In light of the recent rise in cases and localised lockdowns please be aware:

All Swim Wild Wye events are held outdoors in small group settings

Equipment hire (kayak, paddle and life jacket) are available - these are wiped clean before each use

We encourage you to maintain a safe social distance at all times

Hand sanitiser will be available at each event, however please bring your own if you prefer

Please do not attend any Swim Wild Wye event if you, or a member of your household, are displaying any Covid related symptoms
