Crinolines and Classics: Those Fabulous Fifties!

For many, the 1950s was a time for music, cruising, and car hops. The austerity of World War II was over, and America was enjoying the post-war boom, with fashions that celebrated the feminine form, and teenage fashion emerging as a force to be reckoned with. Join us for this live fashion show as we welcome Fashion and the Automobile for an entertaining romp around the clock through that amazing decade in “Crinolines and Classics: Those Fabulous Fifties”, as we celebrate the 75th anniversary of Livonia!

Join us in the Bennett Civic Center Library Auditorium for this One City, One Book event. Free and open to the public.
