Everyone who attends gets a free copy of the One Big Show album with their ticket purchase.
Celebrating the 20th anniversary of their pivotal recording "One Big Show", Annie & Rod Capps along with their exceptionally talented band mates (Jason Dennie, Ozzie Andrews and Mike Shimmin) will pay tribute to the songs from the album re-imagining them with fresh ears, new perspectives and updated arrangements.
They'll also be featuring songs from their new album scheduled for release this Fall and some tried and true favorites.
Poignant and playful, effortless and endearing, Annie & Rod Capps’ sound meets at the intersection of Americana & Folk. Like many singer/songwriters whose instrumentation is primarily acoustic the word “folk” covers a broad sonic range of genres and influences – what comes out is a rootsy vibe, touch of twang and soulful groove. Since 2006, Jason Dennie, has been contributing to their arrangements with his wildly creative mandolin and instinctive harmony. In 2014, Dan Ozzie Andrews joined the band, bringing with him a degree in jazz bass and vast experience in all musical styles he joyfully adds the rock solid and creative low-end. They'll be also accompanied by the exceptionally talented, Michael Shimmin on drums & percussion.
From house concerts to festival stages, the Capps have become known for their ability to create an intimate and engaging atmosphere that resonates with authenticity, earning them new fans every where they go.
