📣 You’re Invited: Family Learning Event – Numeracy & Mathematics - Count Me In!
Date: Thursday 4th December
Time: 1:45 pm – 3:00 pm
Location: East Calder Primary School (enter via dining hall doors)
We are committed to working in partnership with families to support every child’s learning. In line with How Good Is Our School? (HGIOS) Quality Indicator 2.5 – Family Learning, this event will give parents and carers the opportunity to experience how numeracy and mathematics are taught in school today.
During the session, you will:
• Take part in classroom activities alongside your child.
•See the approaches we use to make maths engaging and meaningful.
•Explore resources and strategies that you can use at home.
•Learn how we build numeracy skills for life, learning, and work.
This is a fantastic chance to see learning in action and discover how you can support your child’s confidence and understanding in maths.
Don’t worry if you have more than one child – you’ll be able to move between classrooms and join in activities across different stages.
