Saturday 8:30am we meet at the trailhead for "The Crack" in Killarney Provincial Park and hike up one of the more famous bucket list hikes in Ontario. After the hike we will be driving into the municipality of Killarney to enjoy some fresh water fish and chips from the famous "Herbert Fisheries".
This is an intermediate to advanced 8km hike with about 200 meters of elevation. What makes this hike fantastic is not just the stunning view from the top but the bouldering you have to do to get here. Depending upon the group it can take 4 or 5 hours to complete depending upon how much time you spend at the top.
We will be parking at "The Crack Trail (Parking Lot)" :

You will need a Daily Vehicle Permit (DVP) use permit from
https://reservations.ontarioparks.ca/
The park is Killarney, the permit type is Day Use and you want a Daily Vehicle Permit (DVP)
The permit costs $18 per vehicle so pack that minivan to the rafters and head on down. If you are camping at one of the provincial parks you should be able to use your camping receipt as your day use permit or at least last year you could.
The post hike food venue is Herbert Fisheries in Killarney
21 Channel St, Killarney, ON P0M 2A0

You will need sturdy hiking boots, at least two litres of water, snacks, poles if you use them and dress for the weather.
No need to bring the smiles, they come automatically!
Hope to see you there!
