Head to the Hills Sunday 30 November at 2pm for the opening of two captivating Tarnanthi exhibitions at FABRIK Arts + Heritage.
'Woven within Stars' brings together a striking collection of works by nine First Nations artists from across northern South Australia and Galinyala (Port Lincoln). Curated by proud Wangkangurru woman Marika Davies, the exhibition offers powerful insight into stories, culture, and connection to Country.
'Yirr' shows intricate weavings by Janette Murrungun from Numbulwar in south-east Arnhem Land. Murrungun weaves together pandanus fibre with nylon from ghost nets to create traditional yirr carrier bags.
Exhibitions run from 28 November 2025 - 1 March 2026
Wednesday to Sunday 11am - 4pm
