Join Us in Prayer, Witness & Solidarity
As violence continues to devastate Gaza, we gather in sacred assembly to lift our voices, to mourn with those who suffer and to pray for an end to this unfolding humanitarian catastrophe. This Mass will be rooted in reflection, lamentation and hope…and will feature homilies by Father Jeff Hood and Peace for Palestine Cofounder Ebrahim Abunasrah. We will also be joined by members of our local Palestinian community.
Recent international developments suggest tentative movement toward a ceasefire. Yet even as hope emerges, airstrikes persist, bombs fall and human suffering intensifies.
In this context, our gathering is not just symbolic. Our prayers are for transformation…for justice, for peace, for the dignity of all God’s/Allah’s children. We will name the grief, confront the violence and consecrate this time as sacred resistance.
What to Expect
• A liturgy shaped for prayer, remembrance, and intercession
• Two homilies: one by Christian Father Jeff Hood, one by Muslim Peace for Palestine Cofounder Ebrahim Abunasrah
• Liturgical silence and moments of communal lament
• An invitation to ritual acts of commitment (prayers, petitions, personal reflection)
• Option to participate in a virtual way (for those tuning in via livestream)
Who Should Come
All who mourn, who hope, who seek justice, who refuse to remain silent. Whether you are new to this cause or have long borne witness, your presence is part of the prophetic body of humanity standing together with Gaza.
