In March, we recognize Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month (DDAM), a time to celebrate individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This year alongside our campaign, “We AR _______”, we will be hosting our first-ever DDAM Spring Fair.
The Blue Umbrella is an extension of the Division of Disabilities Services (DDS). This unique gift shop inside our main office in Downtown Little Rock is where you will find one-of-a-kind, handmade items by Arkansans with disabilities who benefit from our programs and services. Join us at the Fair to celebrate The Blue Umbrella's 7th Anniversary of being open with birthday cake and door prizes!
Come out to the street fair to support our artists who will be selling their handmade crafts such as rugs, magnets, wreaths, door hangers, clothing items, home decor, welcome mats and more! All proceeds go to the artists who made the items.
The food trucks that will be in attendance are Maw Maw's House, 870 Smoke, Mason's Fine Southern Food, Kool's BBQ & Fish, Splendour by Alexis, Krimsyn Treats, Cheesecake on Point, and Snowie Slushes.
