Description: Storytelling is an ancient art and DeKalb County's Ranger Jonah McDonald (the Park Naturalist at Mason Mill Park) has been performing stories for all ages for 20 years. EMBARC Community Youth Farm at Rock Chapel II Park welcomes Ranger Jonah for a special storytelling program. Hear stories from around the world and from Ranger Jonah's childhood and learn storytelling tips, tricks, and techniques.
What to expect: Our group will gather in a covered space for an hour of storytelling and discussion, led by Ranger Jonah. Stick around after the storytelling to roast marshmallows around a campfire.
Program leader: Your guide & storyteller will be Ranger Jonah McDonald, the DeKalb County Park Naturalist at Mason Mill Park.
Where to meet: Enter the Rock Chapel II Park gates at 1185 Rock Chapel Rd and park near the park headquarters building. Storytelling will be in the large pavilion.
