Join us for a presentation on the nature to be found within Rimrose Valley Country Park!
As part of our charity's membership scheme which we relaunched this year, we are hosting our first 'members event' next Friday 28th November! We'd like to widen this invitation to all our supporters, in return for a donation of any size, payable through Eventbrite. All funds raised will go straight back into our work :-)
But be quick, as places are limited! Full details as follows...
In 2022, Rimrose Valley Friends commissioned an Ecological Survey Report on Rimrose Valley Country Park.
This was done against the backdrop of National Highways' road proposal and its threat to the park's future. We believed that there was a risk that their own environmental studies would downplay the importance of the park's flora and fauna, so this report was intended to challenge their findings.
One year on from the road's cancellation, we'd like to invite you to hear all about the amazing array of nature to be found within our wonderful Rimrose Valley, some you'll be familiar with, others you may not!
Join us as the report's author brings this report to life, followed by a Q&A about the park's biodiversity... and its potential to do even more for nature!
You are invited to join us for a social drink afterwards.
