Alton Town Council is excited to announce the popular Pancake Race, supported by Capra Espresso, will return to the Public Gardens on Tuesday 17th February.
New for 2026 Capra Espresso will be selling Pancakes and refreshments.
Registration will open at 10:00am with the first race starting at approximately 10:45am.
Fancy dress is encouraged, adding to the frivolity of this well attended Alton event with a prize up for grabs for the best dressed participant.
Pancake Race categories are as follows:
Nutella - preschool children
Lemon & Sugar – Years R - 2 (Infants)
Milk – Years 3 - 6 (Juniors)
Flour – Year 7 - 11 (Secondary)
Eggs - Relay race for teams of up to 8 people
Entrance is £1.00 per child or £5.00 per team with prizes for each category.
