Validity: Before activation, valid for 1 year from the date of purchase. Your pass is activated as soon as you use it for the first time and is valid for the number of 24-hour periods chosen. For example, if you select a 48-hour pass and take any public transport at 3pm on a Monday afternoon, your pass is valid till Wednesday 3pm.

Bear in mind that national monuments and museums are closed on the following dates: January 1, Easter Sunday, May 1, December 24 and 25, and on municipal holidays (June 13 in Lisbon and June 29 in Sintra).
All cards must be exchanged at the same redemption point.
