Num mundo dominado por despropósitos em detrimento do bom senso.
Em vez de se concentrar numa questão política específica, a exposição centra-se mais em mergulhar na realidade agitada do quotidiano. À primeira vista, as esculturas podem parecer chamativos letreiros de néon, logótipos e placas de empresas. Mas são feitas em barras de aço resistentes, dobradas à mão, soldadas e envernizadas. Parecem suaves e leves, mas não brilham como os verdadeiros letreiros. Estas esculturas, bem como os tapetes tufados pendurados na parede, adulteram e prestam homenagem à história da arte e à cultura popular. A maioria das obras tem um toque humorístico, com subtilezas ligeiramente desagradáveis. Ao brincar com os logótipos, símbolos e trocadilhos familiares abre-se um espaço amplo para o pensamento e a reflexão.

The world seems to be filled with more nonsense than sense these days. Instead of zeroing in on a specific political issue, the exhibition is more about poking into the buzzing everyday reality. At first glance the sculptures might look like those flashy neon signs, logos, and company signage. But they're made of sturdy steel rods, bent by hand, welded, and varnished. They look all soft and light, but they don't glow like real neon signs. These sculptures, as well as the tufted wall hang carpets, are both tampering with and paying homage to art history and popular culture. Most of the works holds a humorous twist, with slightly unpleasant undertones. By playing around with familiar logos, symbols and puns, this is an honest attempt to open a wider space for thought and reflection.
