What makes a memoir different from other forms of writing? What happens when a chapter of your life becomes the story itself?
Have you ever felt the pull to turn a lived experience into a memoir, but weren’t sure where to begin? You’re not alone. Writing a memoir is an invitation to shape memory, meaning, and truth into a story that only you can tell.
A memoir is powerful because it is rooted in real life. It asks for honesty, reflection, and courage. And perhaps the most beautiful part is this: the only person who can write your memoir is you. Your voice, your perspective, your lived experience are irreplaceable.
Is there a story from your life that has been waiting to be told?
About the Workshop:
Join us for a creative and reflective writing journey designed for writers who feel called to explore memoir writing and need guidance, clarity, and inspiration to begin.
Through guided practices, reflection, and collective exploration, you will:
• Explore what defines a memoir and how it differs from other writing forms
• Learn foundational memoir writing techniques
• Connect with the emotional truth and voice of your story
• Tune into the chapter of your life that wants to be written
• Experience writing as both self-expression and self-discovery
You will leave with renewed clarity, creative momentum, and a deeper connection to the story only you can bring to the page.
This experience is designed for:
• Writers curious about memoir writing
• Anyone feeling called to transform lived experience into story
• Those who want to write from truth, memory, and authenticity
