As we prepare for the second annual McGarry "Love in Action" Foundation 5K Run/Walk, my heart is filled with gratitude and love. This event is not just a race—it's a celebration of two extraordinary people, my parents, Kris and Joe McGarry, whose unwavering kindness, selflessness, and dedication to others continue to inspire everyone who knew them.
Kris and Joe believed deeply in the power of community, and they lived by the motto that love, when put into action, can change the world. Through their work, their friendships, and their service to others, they showed us that love isn't just something we say—it's something we do. It's the small gestures, the big dreams, the helping hand, and the listening ear that can make all the difference in someone's life.
