- This class is truly a unique class, designed to give you the basic knowledge of Laws, Equipment, How to, along with basic shooting fundamentals. We will discuss the following;
- Firearm Safety Rules
- Home Storage and Transportation Laws
- Handgun selection Buying
- Nomenclature
- Maintenance and Cleaning
- Ammunition and Ballistics
- Review of the DOJ Firearm Safety Test
- Loading/Unloading Magazines and Firearm
- Sight Alignment/Sight Picture
- Shooting Fundamentals, Grip & Stance
- On the range, we start building good fundamental techniques, and safe handling of firearms.
- We practice a lot of firearm skills and then start applying our techniques with live fire exercises.
- Our simple goal is at the end of the day, you have a level of comfort and confidence in handling a firearm in a safe and effective manner for self-defense and had fun doing it! This will be the building block to advance to other training classes ie. Basic Handgun, CCW, Defensive Handgun, etc.

***AMMO-If you are unable to provide your own ammo, we are able to provide 9mm ($40) or .22LR ($10) for an additional cost day of the range. Cash or Venmo

WHAT TO BRING:
**Firearms and Ammunition:**
- If you have a Handgun (In locked case-Unloaded) - we provide several of the most common handguns for you to test shoot
-AMMO 100 rounds of factory target ammo,
If borrowing our firearms, please bring 100 rounds of 9mm (Ball or FMJ) or .22LR
****ATTENTION**** In CA in order to purchase ammo, you must have a firearm registered to you. IF you are unable to purchase or supply your own ammo, you may purchase the day of the class. We currently are able to supply only 9mm.
- Casual dress, flat soled shoes (Tennis Shoe/ Hiking Shoe)
- Baseball style Hat
- Hearing Protection (Electronic is best- Do Not Recommend disposable foam plugs)
- Eye protection (Sunglasses/Eyeglasses are fine)
- Food and water
- Folding chair
- Sunscreen
- Rain Coat/Poncho weather permitting
- Spectators must be Pre-Approved!
- We train Rain or Shine
- Great Attitude
