Join us to celebrate what would have been Ethel Untermyer’s 100th birthday—the founder of the Lake County Forest Preserves. Stop by to learn more about her inspiring legacy, enjoy hands-on nature activities, and explore the energy-efficient, net-zero design of the Ryerson Education Center—home to many of our school and group programs.

This drop-in event is free and open to the public. Come connect with nature, sustainability and local history!
