Winter Ruck & Roam is a monthly community ruck/walk/hike through Wilderness Park, created to help people move, connect, and experience nature all winter long. Together, we'll explore the trails, build community between organizations, and enjoy the peaceful cold-weather beauty at one of Lincoln’s most treasured natural spaces.
Held in partnership with Friends of Wilderness Park, this series supports their mission of preservation, education, and community collaboration. Whether you prefer to walk, hike, or ruck with weight, everyone capable of 3 miles on uneven terrain is welcome.
Bundle up. Bring a friend. Let’s roam the winter wild—together.
Join us for a cozy monthly hike through Wilderness Park! During the winter months it’s harder to get outside and move — and that can take a toll on both mind and body. I want to share this magical spot right here in Lincoln and help everyone get outside, even when it’s cold.
