Sean Lebita Quintet

Sean Lebita is a dynamic and collaborative pianist from Lincoln, Nebraska, celebrated for his passionate performances and versatility across jazz and classical genres. A University of Nebraska–Lincoln graduate with a BM in Piano Performance under Dr. Paul Barnes, Sean has earned accolades such as the 2018 Nebraska MTNA Young Artist award and the 2021 Glenn Korff School of Music Distinguished Undergraduate Artist/Scholar recognition. He has performed at major venues like the Lied Center and with the Omaha Symphony, and leads his own ensembles, the Sean Lebita Quartet/Quintet! In 2024, his quintet released their debut album "Rose Tinted Glasses", featuring his original compositions. A committed educator, Sean runs a private studio, has worked in local schools, and served as a TA at the Brevard Jazz Institute. He also clinics high school jazz bands, coaches collegiate chamber musicians, and teaches through the Lincoln Music Teachers Association's outreach program. Beyond Nebraska, he engages in online musical collaborations, offering lectures, masterclasses, and recitals.
