Introduction and Social Event 25/26

An introduction session and social event for staff and students, where we will introduce the digital aquarium and its upcoming workshops and facilities. Digital aquarium events and materials are only for students and staff within the University of Lincoln.

At 1:15 pm, there will be a 20-minute introduction to the Digital Aquarium and Sandbox immersive studio outlining what to expect over the coming year. Afterwards, a number of activities will be available to act as a social break for students and staff alike.

• Have your photo taken against our 3M high Greenscreen, get transported to a fantasy world as a preview our our new VP studio
• Play some of our board games as a break between classes and get to know each other
• Ask questions and try out new kit

There will be some board games, VR games and snacks made available alongside a chance to find out more about upcoming Digital Aquarium sessions and join the community.

Info: Welcome talk and introduction, which will outline what to expect over the coming months and details on how to get involved, alongside a quick Q&A, all expected to finish before 1.30, starting at 1:15.

Info: The greenscreen stage will be set up for photography with a variety of sci-fi props available. No shoes to be worn on the greenscreen flooring itself. A chance to preview the VP Stage

Info: A variety of board games will be left out for people to play with and socialise with alongside a snack table
