This Christmas, step back in time at the historic Pullen’s Corner Schoolhouse and discover the surprising origins of the carols we know by heart. Join the schoolhouse community as our students sing to the gentle music of the harp, while parents, volunteers, and children bring to life the powerful stories behind these treasured songs.
You’ll uncover how many familiar carols weren’t written for Christmas at all—some were born from personal hardship, while others were created to inspire hope during troubled times. Through music, storytelling, and living history, Harmonies of Hope invites you to experience the season in a heartfelt and meaningful new way.

A suggested donation of $10 per person ensures your spot and supports our mission to keep history alive along the Great Road.
The Pullen’s Corner Schoolhouse is part of the Great Road Heritage Campus, managed by Friends of Hearthside, a nonprofit dedicated to preserving and sharing local history.
