Public Observing

Friday September 19th at 8:00pm is public observing night at Schoonover Observatory. Members of the Lima Astronomical Society will be available to answer all your questions and man the telescopes for public stargazing. We will be open rain or shine. Come out and take a look at your favorite stellar objects.

If you have a telescope that is not working right or you can't figure it out, bring it out and we will show you how to get it working.

The Lima Astronomical Society is a volunteer non-profit, tax-exempt 501 (c) (3) organization that operates Schoonover Observatory for the City of Lima. Donations are graciously accepted.
