Pioneer Skills Homeschool Field Trip

Step back in time for a hands-on homeschool adventure! 👩‍🌾
Join the Johnny Appleseed Metropolitan Park District Naturalists for our Pioneer Skills Field Trip, an interactive learning experience designed for homeschool students ages 7–10.

Through stories, demonstrations, and real artifacts, students will discover what life was like for Allen County’s early settlers and how everyone, even the children, helped make the most of the resources around them.

This interdisciplinary cultural history program brings the past to life while connecting it to the present-day community.

🔸 All family members attending must register to ensure accurate participation numbers.
🔸 Registration closes October 29.
