Alter Ego Comics is launching the very first Kids Comic Book Club—a fun, engaging way for young readers to connect with exciting stories and each other.
At our first meeting, we’ll dive into C.O.R.T. – Children of the Round Table #1 by Tom Taylor and Daniele Di Nicuolo (available beginning Wednesday, September 13). C.O.R.T. is an all-new take on the legend of Camelot. Young Fel, Connor, and their friends are stunned when they’re almost crushed by a giant stone falling from the sky. Their lives are changed forever when they find a sword stuck fast in the stone. Fel pulls the sword from the stone, her friends all receive their own Arthurian legend, and the game is on for a new generation of champions!
The discussion will be led by Angie Bowker, Shawnee Middle School Reading Teacher & Intervention Specialist (and co-owner of Alter Ego). Angie brings her passion for teaching and her love of comics to help kids explore this brand-new DC Comics series.

Readers ages 10 and up who want to discover the joy of reading through comics, spark their imagination, and share the adventure with others.
