Plant swaps are events where plant lovers can exchange indoor or outdoor plants, seeds and cuttings. Drop in any time between 9:00am-12:00pm. Here are some rules to follow at a plant swap:
• Bring plants divided from your garden beds and/or indoor/outdoor container plants that would like to share.
• Prepare cuttings: If you're bringing cuttings, put them in water right away or wrap them in a wet paper towel.
• Plants and seeds should all be individually labelled with name and bloom color.
• Plan to swap plants with individuals or you may add a plant and take a plant from the open swap table.
• Don’t leave with more plants than you brought: It's generally a good idea to not leave the swap with more plants than you brought, but this rule may vary depending on the value of the plants.
• Be respectful: Be kind and don't get upset if someone is not interested in a trade.
• Make comparable trades: Offer trades that are similar in value or desirability. Rarer plants are usually worth more in trade.
• Also you can bring anything else that you want to share, for example gardening books, gardening tools, pots, garden art/sculptures...etc...
• No selling, trades only.
