Community Conversations on Opioid Use Disorder
This is not an academic workshop about stigma. It is a conversation for participants to explore stigma, how we support people with substance use disorder (SUD) and their families, and how we work together in our communities to reduce stigma. We use video interviews of people with lived experience to facilitate discussion, making it very interactive.
Made possible by the Hawaiʻi State Rural Health Association, the University of Rochester and assistance by the Kauaʻi Rural Health Association and the County of Kauaʻi - Office of the Prosecuting Attorney.
Also check out other Health & Wellness events in Lihue, Workshops in Lihue.
