School Swimming and Water Safety Program

Selected students will participate in the Intensive School Swimming and Water Safety Scheme provided by the NSW Department of Education. It aims to provide students with water safety and survival skills.

Due to limited places priority will go to the younger students who are not confident in the water.

Students will attend a one hour lesson every day for a week. The lessons will be delivered by Platform & Co who are experienced and certified AUSTSWIM Instructors. The lessons will take place at the Lightning Ridge Indoor Swimming Pool.

Students must bring Swimmers (one-piece or boardies and a rash shirt), a towel and a plastic bag for wet clothes.

Please return all permission notes to the office by 3:00pm Thursday 21st August 2025
