About the event

Introduction to Coding Using a Micro:bit for Middle School Students
The course is 8 weeks on Thursdays from 12:00 - 1:30 pm. Students will need a laptop; all other materials will be provided. The coding is drag-and-drop blocks with an option to edit in JavaScript. Students will learn to code for scrolling text, images, animations, motors called servos, LED light strips, songs, and games. They will use that knowledge to create a "physical computing device" by the end of the class. You can enroll using the following link https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeLCZK1EyGUceAmk5lGVDiYzSe2pH2C_MBVAzanQ10ZmGPWOA/viewform?usp=header
