We are nearing the end of our apple picking season and anticipate the weekend of October 4th as our final weekend for picking, pending availability of apples.
That being said we are open this week on the following days and hours;
Thursday September 25th from - 10 am to 1 pm
Saturday September 27th from 10 am to 5 pm
Sunday September 28th from 10 am to 5 pm
Picking for this week includes the following apples;
Liberty $1.50/lb (nearly picked out)- a crisp tart and mildly sweet eating apple, also great for apple sauce or apple butter
Golden Delicious $1.50/lb - a sweet eating apple
Mutsu (reduced availability) $1.50/lb - a very large, sweet and juicy yellow apple. Great for eating, baking, or juicing.
Rome $1.50/lb - a firm crunchy mildly sweet and tart apple, great for baking
Goldrush $1.50/lb - a very firm and very sweet apple with a golden hue. This apple is also mildly tart and is a great keeper storing 8+ months in cold storage.
Donuts and slushies will also be available and as always there is no fee to come and pick.
