Come on out and Sass Up YOUR Sunday with Safiya!!
Sunday, August 17th!
Technique, Transitions, Beautiful Arms, Movement, Artistry, Musicality, Breath, and those oh so important Pauses. Each Sunday Specialty Class will take you from foundation to WOW, as Safiya guides you through HER favorite dance styles. From Cairo to the Theatrical Stage, from Cosplay to Elegant Performance Art.
Each weekend wonder-class will have a different focus point, and the students will drill, drill, drill till they drop!
Class Subject: Sword Dance, the Art of Balancing, and Floorwork
After 2 hours of dance we will host a Pot Luck Lunch and during lunch students will enjoy an Educational Lecture by Safiya on Dance History, Ethics, and other wonderful Topics!

10:00 AM Check In
10:30-12:30 PM Dance Class
1:00-2:30 PM Lunch & Lecture

Cost: $40 in advance/$55 at the door
(Students with Class Cards just get 4 punches on your card!! MU Passholders get a 10% Discount)
