Ready to explore your creativity with oils? Join artist Debra Riggs for a six-week hands-on course at Arts | Theatre 202! Whether you’re a beginner or intermediate, you’ll learn essential oil painting techniques while creating your own landscapes, still lifes, and figures.
What You’ll Do:
Paint landscapes, seascapes, still lifes, and figures
Work from a live model
Develop skills in color mixing, brushwork, composition, and observation

About the Instructor:
Debra Riggs is a fine artist known for her colorful, expressive paintings. She has studied at University of Wisconsin-Madison, Callanwolde Fine Arts Center, and Spruill Arts Center, and trained with portrait artists Michael Del Priore and Nancy Honea. Debra paints regularly from live models and often performs live painting alongside her husband, singer-songwriter Jack Riggs @musicmaker507
. Her solo show, “The Art of Being Seen,” is currently on display at Arts Davidson County.
