Beth G. Raps, PhD realized she was more than "a brain on a stick" a few decades ago (she's 65) and that she needed a movement practice. Having worked on world music books as an editor, writer, and translator, grounded in the basics of Western (ballet, jazz, tap, modern, contemporary) plus Middle Eastern and African dance forms, inspired by the five elements of traditional Chinese medicine, she began to create a class that is loosely but carefully structured and guided using music from all the inhabited continents.
