Have the opportunity to browse unique works for purchase, and connect with fellow art lovers. Enjoy light hors d'oeuvres, drinks, great conversation, and a vibrant mix-and-mingle experience, all in support of the arts.
There will be two featured artists at the event:
Julie Quick is a pastel artist from Lexington, Kentucky. Her studio is in downtown Lexington . She's won numerous awards in plein air competitions, and 3 of her works have been juried and accepted at the international level through the International Association of Pastel Societies.
Ken Burney is a Kentucky Crafted artist and a member of the Kentucky Arts Council’s Board of Directors. His work blends bold color, cultural storytelling, and a deep sense of history, often honoring overlooked contributions and shared journeys. Burney created the official artwork for the 150th Governor’s Derby Celebration poster, Winners, which now hangs behind Governor Andy Beshear’s desk in the Kentucky State Capitol. His art has been featured in Vogue magazine, The New York Times.
