Embrace Church and Common Good are hosting a health fair on Saturday, September 13 from 12-3pm! This event is free and open to the community. Lunch will be provided to folks who visit at least four booths.
Vendors include:
-Health Department: info about healthy eating, blood pressure, and diabetes info
-Vision Screening, Lion’s Club
-A1C Diabetes Screening, Lion’s Club
-Passport/Molina Medicaid Insurance
-Mission Lexington: free medical, dental, vision, and pharmacy care for uninsured folks
-Bluegrass Community Health Center: glucose checks, blood pressure screenings, HIV testing, and Vaccines
-New Vista: mental health support and recovery support
-Overdose Prevention, LFUCG: Narcan training
-Lexington Fire Department: free smoke alarm installation program and SMART 911 alert system
-Buena Vida: programming and support for seniors
-KCHIP Outreach Program: support with applying for KCHIP medical insurance for children
-KYnectors: assistance with applying for Medicaid and SNAP
-Voices of Hope: recovery support
