Ash Wednesday Service

To begin the Lenten season, we invite you to join us as we are reminded of the grace and forgiveness proclaimed in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We need to renew our faith, and in observance of the days of our Lord's passion and resurrection, the early church observed a forty-day season of spiritual preparation prior to the Easter celebration. Through prayer, fasting, self-denial, and meditating in God's Holy Word, we can observe a holy Lent and create a place and time for those who have been lost to be reconciled to the community of faith.

Our service will begin Wednesday, February 18th, at 6:00 PM in the Lexington First UMC Sanctuary and will be live-streamed on both our Facebook and YouTube pages.
