Workshop: Simple Medieval Stockings

Part One of a two-part series to draft and hand-sew a simple pair of medieval stockings. Attendees should bring 1-2 yards of lightweight scrap fabric for creating their personalized pattern draft, safety/straight pins and scissors. Patterning fabric should be lightweight with little stretch (linen, cotton muslin, quilting cotton, etc.).
Please bring shorts or wear leggings to facilitate ease in fitting. As this is a group activity, be prepared to help each other during the fitting process.
Part Two (2/15/26) will cover hand-sewing techniques for assembling your stockings.
