Texas music legend Bob Livingston—singer-songwriter, author, and founding member of the iconic Lost Gonzo Band—takes the stage for an unforgettable evening of songs and stories. This fall, Livingston releases his long-awaited memoir, Gypsy Alibi: A Gonzo Memoir (Texas Tech University Press), a candid and colorful journey through the untamed world of Texas progressive country. Expect plenty of tales from the road alongside the original songs that made him a cornerstone of the Texas music scene.

The Black Box Songwriter Concert Series features performing singer/songwriters in an intimate, listening room setting. The series has attracted a variety of celebrated songwriters, such as Susan Gibson (“Wide Open Spaces” - Dixie Chicks), Walt Wilkins (“Trains I Missed,” “Seven Hillsides” - Ricky Skaggs), Ronny Cox, and numerous Kerrville Folk Festival Finalists.
