📚🍕Our Italian Language classes are about to begin in just a few weeks!
Are you planning a trip to Italy? Are you of Italian heritage and seeking to explore the language? Are you looking for something fun and cultural to do with your friends?
Our instructors, Manola DeMunda & Dr. Linda Silvestri have so much to share with you! We have language classes at the Red Brick School (LCA room) as well as FREE programming at the Lewiston Public Library.
We are offering two engaging Italian Classes this season, each taught by an experienced instructor.
Beginner Class - Instructor: Manola DeMunda, Centro Culturale Italiano di Buffalo
-Perfect for those starting from scratch. Grammar and Vocabulary, Workbook exercises
- Monday evenings from 6:00pm-7:30pm
- Mon, Sept 8th to Mon, Nov 17th (no classes Mon Oct, 13th)
- Tuition $200 ($175 for LCA Members)
- Textbook: Italiano essenziale #1, $30
Complete Italian Step by Step - Instructor: Dr. Linda Silvestri, PhD, University at Buffalo, Niagara University
- A Holistic and entertaining approach to learning Italian, employing the four language learning skills: listening, reading, writing, and speaking with conversation through dialogue and song.
-Mondays- Beginner Level 1: 4:00pm to 5:30pm, beginning Mon, Sept 8th thru Nov 17th. (No class Mon, Oct 13th)
-Saturdays -
Level 2: 1:00pm-2:30pm and
Level 3: 11:00am-12:30pm, both beginning Sat, Sept 6th thru Sat, Nov 15th (No classes Sat, Oct 18th)
-Tuition: $200 for ten 90 min classes ($175 for LCA Members)
-Textbooks: Complete Italian Step by Step, by Paola Nanni-Tate, Easy Italian Reader, by Riccarda Saggese, and Italian-English/English-Italian Dictionary of your choice.
All classes are held at the Lewiston Red Brick Schoolhouse
