Join Everyday People as the they celebrate the music from the 60's and 70's as they present special guests "The Heatwave". Members from The Heatwave will join Everyday People on stage to celebrate the spectacular music from the golden era of rock.
"The Heatwave" was a special band that was formed in 1968 to compete in the "Sound of Youth". Rich DelZoppo was the brainchild, putting the band together. The Sound of Youth was a 60's forerunner to America's Got Talent that was sponsored by the Niagara Falls' Jaycees, prompted by Bob Lentine and Angelo DelSignore. The finals were taped on Broadway in New York City and featured Duke Ellington as the Master of Ceremonies. The nationally televised show featured and all-star cast of celebrity judges which included: Thelonious Monk, Tommy James of the Shondells, Carla Thomas and a cast of numerous others from the New York City area.
As part of the band reunion, the members agreed to team-up with Everyday People and appear at the 2023 Lewiston Peach Festival. Featured Performers are:
Marie Smothers, Margaret (Peggy) Williams-Beach, Rich DelZoppo, Frank Geracitano , Frank Fracassi and Carl Filbert.

The Everyday People and Heat Wave will perform a concert featuring music from the heyday of old Falls Street, Niagara Falls, NY.
