Civic Conversations: LEWISBURG

Join community members at The Public Library for Union County on the first Wednesday of every month as we discuss current events and controversial issues, focusing on dialogue over debate.

Goals of Civic Conversations include:
Being curious vs being judgmental
Focusing on understanding we all have unique perspectives vs convincing others to change their minds
Discussing the issues vs turning them into personal attacks
Discovering shared values vs focusing on differences
